“For the church, the many abuses of human life, liberty, and dignity
are a heartfelt suffering. The church, entrusted with the earth’s glory,
believes that in each person is the Creator’s image and that everyone
who tramples it offends God. As holy defender of God’s rights
and of his images, the church must cry out"
― Oscar Romero
Tomorrow marks the 40th anniversary of Romero's death..

Living In Anxious Times – Books for Kids
By Erin Wasinger. In my school library I typically see about 375
elementary-aged students each week, my idea of a dream job.
Judging by our in-school panic last Thursday and Friday,
today would’ve been more of the same: kids acting out,
showing us what they know about living with anxiety and
looking to adults with few answers. I would have read the following books.
Here's to energizing reading today!
